Well, I still adore you, and this story. Tom did it right. His explanation was said in the perfect way for a child to understand. Like two princes? Or two bus drivers See, a child would understand that. (that was so cute)

I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of the bitchy PTA broad. (I just realized I'm going thru' this story backwards) I bet she's the type to gossip. Then her opinions are going to get back to Janni, who's going to rethink her dad's relationship; question what he told her. Crap.
But anyway. You have Tom dealing with this so well. His first priority is Janni, even though he knows he has feeling for Bill that have to be dealt with. You have Bill being so wonderfully understanding, for someone who doesn't have much dealings with kids.
This is such a beautiful story, I wish I could express myself better these days. Just know that I love this.
