I love how Bill is so concerned with Tom and how Janni feels. I think that truly shows how much he cares for Tom.
“Can I love Brownie?” Janni kissed her bear with a loud smack, right on his bear lips, and Tom’s heart melted a little. I love this line. It's so fitting for a child her age and really shows you how innocent kids are until adults start pushing their views on to them. That is definitely something my niece would have said too. I thought Tom handled the situation well considering he was hoping to do more damage control. I hope she doesn't have any issues. That lady was terrible that was the mom of Janni's friend. Hopefully as Janni gets to know Bill it will all work out.
