I work nights and he can't grasp the fact that some people don't hold normal hours like everyone else. It blows his little mind. He goes on these little spiels about how I'm "half vampire, half awesome, half DeeDee (which is his name for me)" and says things like, "I would share my Oreos with you, but you can't have my Oreos. Vampires only eat blood and drink Diet Coke." Love the stuff he comes up with. <3
Janni is a hell of a character, really, particularly for a kid so young. She gives the impression of the type of kid that just... questions all the time.
I love kids, though, so I'd be hard-pressed not to adore her character. She lends a measure of wacky fun to the fic. Children's innocence tends to feel like that. C:
