The tenderness between these two is just so ... tender and earnest and heartwarming and sexy.
Tom with Janni was so fatherly, but so was Bill, but in such a wonderfully different way. They are both so great and understanding with her.
Georg was almost the comic relief, but his concern for Tom evened that out. Although, I can see how his concern, and everyone else's, is really starting to piss Tom off. You've captured Georg's sentiments for his friend very well. It's hard to see your best friend doing something you may think is not in their best interest.
