I liked how this chapter was sort of a step back from all the 'action', which probably sounds dumb to you, but in my little world it makes sense. There were no cliffhangers to get you all riled up, no sex to get you hot and bothered and even though there was the 'drama' of the ex-mother-in-law, it was half expected.
To me, this chapter brought out all the support systems. Georg and Gustav helping with the moving and being best friends. Bill making sure Janni felt included and being there for Tom with his confrontation with Anjelica and his hints at things to come that night. And Simone showing up with food and making Bill feel included in the family.
All these things just brought the story together and gave me a better sense of how the characters were support systems for each other.
Okay, I'll be shutting up now, because this is probably making you go all 'wtf' is she ranting about. I loved it, as usual!
