When I finished reading all I could think of was 'how exciting!' I know everyone's going to be going off on the wicked grandma, but I kept picturing Tom booking it over to her house and all but slamming on the brakes and screeching his tires, then dashing up the walkway to rescue his poor kidnapped daughter. (I know it didn't quite happen that way, but it could have!)

And Yay for the good cop and the legal advice! But Tom was too nice. He should have told Janni what was up. Naw, I guess that wouldn't be his style; he let his daughter love her grandma for a little while longer.

I loved how Bill stood by his side through it all; wonderful moral support for Tom and Janni!
