Oh, Bill. :( This is such an incredibly emotional chapter, and I'm worried about whatever's coming up next. What you've written here feels like the end of an era or something, if that makes any sense, but I'm not sure what it is Bill's ending yet. Gahhh.
Again, I love seeing Bill interacting with Janni, though. She's adorable in her concern, and he's a perfect second parent to match with both her and with Tom. And the last scene was so intense, I got teary-eyed in the middle of it. This fic is always so amazingly realistic and gorgeous, I sometimes feel like I'm reading a memoir. ♥ A very sexy memoir, at times, but still.
