I had a feeling that at some point, Bill ran off and much angst ensued. I don't know why exactly; it's just something I thought about as soon as I read the beginning of this chapter. Of course I much prefer it this way :) I don't want to see any of them hurt more than they already are, and I can't imagine how traumatizing that would be for Janni.
